TRUMP ANNOUNCES DEAL ENDING LONGEST-EVER GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN

GOVERNMENT WILL REOPEN, STILL NO WALL FUNDING

RT – US President Donald Trump has announced a deal to reopen the government after more than 34 days, the longest shutdown in US history. Trump said that Democrats and Republicans are willing to put their partisanship aside to “put the security of the American people first.” “In a short while, I will sign a bill to open our government for three weeks,” he said, adding that lawmakers would work over this time on a more permanent solution of the border issues.
