It’s All About The View

By Regina Marie

Happy Sunday – Life it’s how you view it – I write daily on here and I am supposed to in my journal. Today as I found my journal, my last entry was 6/22/21. So today’s entry was a bit long, but it focused on the positives and negatives of life and how it effects us. Positives since the last post: my student loans were forgiven, my home is paid off, my car will be paid off within a month,

I have traveled to see a friend whom I havent seen in three years and plan to travel to Alaska this summer to see my nephew get married and my brother whom I haven’t see since around 2000. Negatives since the last post: gas and food prices are almost unaffordable. We are going to need a job just to put gas in our cars…currently $4.00 a gallon. Shelves in stores on common household items are empty and lastly many good people I have known for years have passed away. Another perspective to that is not Negative for they are home with You.

Life has been a chain of events in which Satan has been trying to tear this world apart, person by person, country by country. Natural disasters, crime everything to the extreme. Evil surrounds us each and everyday and I wake up and I thank you for all that you have given me. “Thank the Lord because he is good. His love continues forever. That is what those whom the Lord has saved should say.” Psalms 107:1‭-‬2 NCV Our perspective of all situations can make or break us. If we allow the world to bring us down, we will never make it. Life will be heavy and filled with strife, allowing all that weight to push us down. But if we wake up with a grateful heart for all that he has given us, all that he has comforted us through, all that he has strengthened us with, then we are winning.

We can look at the world from His eyes, not ours, pushing away negative thoughts and views, only allowing ourselves to look at all the good He brings to us. Oh what a difference that makes! Today, focus on what He has given you. Wake up with a grateful heart and life will feel so much lighter and easier. Dear Heavenly Father – Please open my eyes, ears, and mind to see things through all the positive that You have provided for me. In times that are heavy, help me to look up and focus on You; for You are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Here is one..I’ve struggled with a headache all day. Going to get some sleep and I’ll find another tomorrow
