She is so strong, so smart, so independent, and has great passion for many things. Her family is her focus. I know her. Family means everything to her. I know, she could be anyone. But that is because you, the reader have a picture of her in your own mind right now. We all have that picture. The evidence, memories, and emotions are the same. It’s the person who is different. We are all individuals. So who she is, is different to us all. Sounds elementary, yet nothing in this journey has been yet.

Are we bound to separate destinations? We must be or we would be together by now. I have to wonder when we cross paths with our intended, will we know it? Will an alarm go off in our heart and scream, this is the one? These are questions without answers to me. I have met those who assume this though. When we talk, I catch myself hoping they are right. That I too would know.

Confused? Me too, I think most of us are. I tend to be a guy with great confidence about all my pursuits I deem important. But this one will wear even the strongest person down. The pursuit for real, forever, unconditional love. It’s the only thing in life that we must be 100% in and 0% out. My head spins as I write this. Why is something so huge so complex? For those who believe they can read, think, or bluff their way through this. Good luck with that. Heart matters are not things one can conquer in these ways.

Never ran smooth. I only believe this because it’s true in my journey. When first single, I would not have agreed with Mr Shakespeare at all. Today, I trumpet his genius. He understood relationships. You see even though real love is the most powerful force in this multiverse, it comes with it’s own set of rules, confusion is one of them. Having said that, it also comes with a remedy for confusion. You see it comes with a remedy for everything. Love is the only thing that does that. I am comforted by this truth as I write it. Are there those who will or should remain alone, or at least “unattached”? I believe there are. I hope I am not one of them. But if I am, so be it. I will rise above it and live life to the fullest. I’d like to believe we all would.

You see, I do know her. I know her heart and mind. I know her intimately. Her name is the name etched onto my heart. She is the one I dream of at night. She is quite simply, “the one”….
