The same people that told us there were WMDs in Iraq, that the Iraq military was taking babies out of incubators, that 12 Russian trolls that reached only 30k people caused Trump to get elected, and a host of other outright lies are trying to convince us the #walkaway movement is Russian bots. Good grief! They have ran out of ideas. CNN, MSNBC, and many other now blatantly left wing establishment media have lost their minds. And a small percentage are buying this stinking pile of steaming ooze.
When Trump was elected the establishment must have sent out a memo to the legacy media and claimed “FAKE NEWS” was the reason the wrong person was elected. Then the free media co-opted the phrase and the rest is history. Then President Trump began using it and it became a battle cry against the real fake media. Today when we hear someone yell, Fake News, we think of CNN, or at least I do. You’d think it’s because of the president, but it isn’t. I really believe they are fake news. And when they make claims as ridiculous as this one, it confirms it. I actually have friends who did #walkaway from the left party. They aren’t Russians and they love their country (America).
Today we have a president with outstanding popularity regardless of having a media that is 93% negative about him when they speak of him. What doe that tell us? First, that the legacy media is dying and fewer and fewer believe them any longer. And they have earned this by selling out the very people they want to reach. If you claim to be a free press but take money in any way from the government you suppose to be keeping in check, you are a fraud. Second, because only 17% of Americans believe the legacy media now, they began searching the internet for truth. This has disaster written all over it, but it was forced upon us.
There are many opinions on the internet, many conspiracy theories. But if you know what you were raised to trust has been lying to you, the only natural solution is to find your own truth. My hope is that honest voices will rise and that honest media will replace the now dying legacy media. It is happening. They really do not see it coming at all. When it hits them it will be like the night Trump won. Eerie for them, a feeling of great loss. But for the rest of us, their lost sheep. It will be wonderful, scary, and revealing.
