I was saddened when I heard the news. I was friends with some of his family members. He will be missed. He was a good father, brother, and family man. Pat led a troubled life and given today’s political standards, did little wrong and no doubt would not have landed himself in federal prison. He accepted a low interest loan on his personal home and yes, it was a political favor. After seeing the shenanigan that go on in DC today, this wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar.
