Gwinnett police say it’s “imperative” that two men who robbed a Norcross pharmacy at gunpoint be identified and captured “as soon as possible.”

On Friday around 5 p.m., two men entered the Atlanta Pharmacy on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in unincorporated Norcross and pulled a gun on employees, demanding all the contents of the safe, cash and the victim’s cell phones, according to Cpl. Michele Pihera, spokeswoman for the Gwinnett County Police Department.

After making off with the cell phones, some medicine and cash — in total, nearly $10,000 was stolen — the men fled, Pihera said.

“It’s imperative that these suspects are identified and captured as soon as possible,” Pihera said. “We don’t know if the suspects have committed robberies in the past, but we’d like to prevent them from committing them in the future.”

The first suspect is described as a “stocky” black man between 5-foot-8 and 5-10 with a thin black mustache and beard.

He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans with white marks on them, black shoes and a black hat with what looks like the word Mets on it.

The second suspect, also a black man, is estimated to be about 5-foot-6 to 5-8 and slim with a black mustache. He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, tan jeans or pants, black shoes with white bottoms and a black hat with “some type of white symbol on it.”

The men are thought to have been driving a maroon Chrysler 300.
