Back From North Korea: Remains of Toccoa soldier home again

 – The remains of a Georgia soldier who died in the Korean War are finally coming home.

Army Cpl. Terrell J. Fuller was reported missing in 1951 and later reported as a prisoner of war.

Fuller’s remains were returned in 1990 and were just recently identified.

Cpl. Fuller will be buried in his hometown, Toccoa.

A procession is escorting Fuller from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport his hometown in Toccoa.

Cpl. Fuller was a member of Company D, 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division and supported Republic of Korea Army attacks against units of the Chinese People’s Volunteer Forces during the Korean War.

He would have been 88-years-old on Saturday.
