Piastra – a Restaurant Review

By Lindy Earl

Piastra refers to themselves as an Upscale-casual eatery, which is a fair description.

The open floor plan is welcoming and inviting.

The food, which is why you visit an Italian Restaurant, is marvelous.  It’s all made from-scratch, from sauces to desserts.  I visited on a weekend night, which is of course a busy time on The Marietta Square.  The wait wasn’t unreasonable and the food was well worth it.

I enjoyed chicken and pasta in white sauce.  Portions were large and the food was delicious.  I’ve met one of the owners in the past and everything was as good as promised.

When you’re visiting The Marietta Square and want a nice sit-down restaurant with a lovely ambience, you will enjoy Piastra, located at 45 W Park Square.  Piastra also offers a bar & weekend brunch.  You’ll enjoy the experience.
