Good Mexican Food at La Parrilla

By Lindy Earl

I had the pleasure of eating at La Parrilla on the Marietta Square a while ago, so was tickled when I realized I was going to have the pleasure of eating at another of their many establishments, this one in Alpharetta.

We had FRESH (still warm), tasty chips on our table within seconds.  Less than a minute later we were greeted and, since we knew what we wanted to order, had been waited on within a few minutes of entering.  That’s a great accomplishment during the work day!

The Speedy Gonzales is a lunch staple and happened to be the special – one taco, one enchilada with Mexican rice and beans.  I enjoyed chicken quesadillas.  Actually, I savored every bite of their chicken quesadillas. The food was served within minutes!  When they say speedy Gonzales they mean rapidamente!

La Parrilla’s portions were generous, so I will be enjoying the second half of my quesadilla tomorrow.  It was all good: the food, the service, and the prices.  Yes, two of us ate, with tip, for about $20.  You have a choice of multiple locations the next time you’re ready for really delicious Mexican food. You will enjoy La Parrilla.
